COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM-FIELD EXPERIENCE PROGRAM SPECIAL SEMESTER HAS BEEN RELEASED

Knowledge gained in college for 6 semesters have gained should be shared to the the local community by teaching. As stated by the Yogyakarta State University Rector Prof. Dr. Rochmat Wahab, M.Pd., MA in the release of CDP Special Semester which took place in GOR UNY (15/7).
 
"As for the students who carry it out, Field experience Program is a means to supplement their competence by learning practitioners" Prof. Dr. Rochmat Wahab, M.Pd., MA. "During CDP, students will also be trained to manage the physical, social, emotional and spiritual". 
 
According to the Chairman of LPPM UNY, Dr Suyanta, learning activities will take place from July 15 until September 15 and were divided into 2 groups. "For the student teachers will do CDP and Field Experience Program (FEP) for 2 months," said Dr. Suyanta "While non-educational student will carry out CDP for 1 month, from August 1 to August 31". For student teachers, on Monday through Thursday will be at the location of Field Experience Program and Friday-Sunday at CDP location.
 
In this session, CDP was followed by 4,458 students in 12 districts namely Sleman, Bantul, Gunung Kidul, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta, Klaten, Purworejo, cities and districts of Magelang and Surakarta, Wonogiri and Blora. Three of the last places are new locations. It occupies 428 locations and covering 62 districts and 96 villages. The number of students who dispatched includes 427 Faculty of Sport Science, Faculty of Science 765 students, 674 students of the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Language and Art 806 students, 581 students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Education 814 students, and the Faculty of Economics 391 students. By involving 131 Field Supervisor. This year also dispatched 27 students who will follow CDP and FEP in Malaysia and Thailand.
 
The release of CDP and FEP was marked by beating a gong and a symbolic handover of the CDP T-shirts by the rector to the representatives participants, Erwin Endaryanta from the Faculty of Education and Nidia Sari Lestari from the Faculty of Language and Art (Jne)
